This CNE course is designed for RNs, LPNs, and healthcare professionals providing care for progressive and critical care patients.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Identify assessment findings associated with acute kidney injury
- Determine symptom management and care for the patient with acute kidney injury
- List treatment options available to patients with kidney failure
- Describe unique aspects of care for the dialysis patient, including dialysis access, patient diet and medication considerations
