DESCRIPTION
DLMP Grand Rounds is a formal lecture series focused on the needs of the laboratory medicine and pathology consultant staff, residents, fellows, and allied health staff with the intent to encourage collaboration among the departments >100 laboratories located in MCR, MCF, MCA, and the MCHS. This monthly conference series presents a broad variety of innovative and scientific laboratory medicine and pathology topics. Mayo staff from other clinical areas are invited to attend too based on relevance to the topic and/or speaker.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Laboratory Medicine and Pathology Consultants, Residents, Fellows, and allied health staff.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Explain how Alzheimer’s disease fluid biomarkers are being incorporated into the diagnostic journey of patients presenting with cognitive impairment.
  • Describe the clinical utility of liquid biopsy in oncology.
