Join us for an interactive, hands-on workshop that delves into both in situ NRP (Normothermic Regional Perfusion) and ex situ machine perfusion techniques. Attendees will have the opportunity to witness demonstrations and practice a range of cannulation techniques at various stations. This session promises a comprehensive learning experience, combining observation with practical skill-building.

 

Target Audience

This course is intended for members of the hepatology community and will be of interest to hepatologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, internists, primary care physicians and other specialists who participate in the care of patients with hepatology disorders and liver transplants.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Formulate surgical techniques associated with liver transplantation.
  • Integrate effective collaboration among various healthcare professionals involved in liver transplantation.
  • Recognize common posttransplant complications.
  • Analyze ethical dilemmas related to organ transplantation within the regulatory framework.
  • Apply evidence-based strategies in the diagnostic workup of patients with suspected cholangiopathy.
