•    Describe the clinical course, manifestations, and acute management of malignant hyperthermia.
•    Develop a non-triggering anesthetic plan for a patient susceptible to malignant hyperthermia.
•    Design a testing strategy for a patient suspected of malignant hyperthermia susceptibility.
•    Distinguish malignant hyperthermia from other similar perioperative presentations.
