Palliative Care Online CNE Nursing Conference

This online CNE conference will explore a variety of topics impacting all members of the healthcare team related to palliative care. Topics include ethics, cultural care, caregiver self-care, difficult discussions, pharmacology, supporting children during parent illness, and sexuality & intimacy.

Target Audience

This online CNE conference is designed for nurses working in palliative medicine, palliative care, and social workers.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Outline the role of the nurse when providing care for palliative patients
  • Identify practical ethics, grief and loss symptoms, and ways to support children in palliative care
  • Describe updates in therapies including pharmacological, cultural, dignity, end of life, sexuality, and caregiver self-care
