Learning Objectives
Attendance at any Mayo Clinic course does not indicate or guarantee competence or proficiency in the skills, knowledge or performance of any care or procedure(s) which may be discussed or taught in this course.
The Cozumel Hotel and Resort is offering hotel rooms for attendees and their guests at the group rate of $90 USD + Tax (21%) per room night in single or double occupancy. Hotel reservations will open shortly.
- Breakfast is included in the room rate
- There is an optional on-site payment of $55 per person/per night that covers the meal plan, coffee breaks, welcome reception, and farewell dinner, which is highly recommended due to the tight schedule that limits the opportunity to dine out.
All travel and lodging expenses are the sole responsibility of the individual registrant.
Dive Logistics/Gear Rental
We will partner with Carribean Divers for the diving and rental gear needs.
Because of the expected fluctuation of the US dollar, the dive prices in USD will be posted in January 2025. Rather than paying for the entire week of diving (like all other dive meetings require), we want to give everyone the flexibility of pre-determining the days they would like to enjoy the optional after-hours activities such as snorkeling and scuba diving.
Please contact Carribean Divers by March 15th to guarantee a space on the dive boat. Later requests will be accommodated as space is available. Non-divers can be accommodated on the dive or snorkel boats on a space available basis for a fee to cover fuel, marine park fee and refreshments.
In order to plan for the space on the boats and additional equipment, pre-payment either by credit card or Zelle will be required for the days you elect to dive. We will make every effort to accommodate walk-up divers on a space available basis for a higher fee, but space is not guaranteed. If dives are cancelled by the operator, a refund will be issued to the original form of payment.
Dive accident insurance that also covers trip interruption and trip cancellation such as DAN and other travel insurance companies is a great way to minimize any potential losses from unforeseen events.
Please consider paying in USD cash (or Mexican Pesos). Credit cards will still be accepted but will incur a 5% bank fee. Retail conversion rates and inter-bank conversion rates will be different as well, which may lead to higher-than-expected charges on some cards.
